What is Moynalty Steam Threshing?

Ans, Moynalty Steam Threshing is an organisation which runs an event once a year on the second of August every year, it is a warm and friendly social occasion for all ages showcasing items of interest of days gone by such as, Steam Threshing, vintage tractors and cars, museum,  timber sports, commercial stalls and amusements and  events for children.

 

When is Moynalty Steam Threshing?

Moynalty Steam Threshing’s main event takes place on the second Sunday of August every year.

 

What is the cost of entry into the Steam Threshing Event?

The Cost of Admission is €20 per adult and children under 12 go free. 

 

What is the Music line up for this years event?

This years music line up is led by Mike Denver and band, Gavin Gribben and band, Pure Blarney, and Matt Leavy.

 

Is there ATM facilities on site?

No ATM on site.

 

Is there Camping available on site?

Yes we cater for campers from the Friday night till Monday day time, the cost of this is €20 euro per camper per night. Occupants of the campers will still have to pay the admission charges to the event. Water and toilets are in place we do not however provide any electrical outlets

 

Do we cater for buses?

Yes we can accommodate all buses however we would ask you contact via email beforehand so we can offer ticket discounts for large numbers.

 

How do you enter a stall into the event?

You can enter a stall by contacting us via email.

 

Is there WIFI available?

Yes WIFI will be available for traders and card payments on entry.

 

Is the museum open all year round?

Moynalty Steam Threshing’s Museum is open by appointment other then that of advertised open days, please contact the office for further information. 0469244810
